The KRAB Audio Archive
Paul Dorpat's "Last of KRAB"

During the nine days of April 7th through the 15th of 1984, Paul Dorpat, Seattle's Historian without Portfolio, was hard at it, capturing KRAB's final moments on the frequency of 107.7mhz. It turned out to be a little more final than any of us expected. He burned through 13 cassettes. Some of this is already up in the archive, but will be presented here in date and time sequence in a futile attempt to reconstruct the last ten days.

There are, for each day, options for listening. Click on "Play the stream" to open the KRAB audio player in a separate window. You can either play the entire play list for that day, or select individual segments.

The week starts with the penultimate KRABgrass:

Saturday 04/07/1984

8:30 pm KRABgrass with Dennis Flannigan, Tiny Freeman, Bob Mitchell, Shirley Oberg, and Marty Corey. Tiny returns for last call.
