Somehow it seemed as if I remember a lot of that in academia. Particularly the deadly faculty meetings and droning discussions. Ending with either joy or pouting by us faculty retards. I once calculated the cost to the department of faculty meetings at about $50,000 per hour.
Cost a quarter mill for the usual weekend planning sessions of two or more deadly days called Faculty Retreats. Jesus. Our Chair was always disappointed because nothing ever ended with the collegial agreement and group hugs all around she learned in a class about conflict resolution somewhere and she so poignantly hoped. Poor lady.
