Daguerrotypes

Dogwalkers
RE: Locating daguerrotype from a back issueTo: poo@cts.com
I'm wondering if you could give me some information about the daguerreotype image that appears in a back issue of Ralph at
www.ralphmag.org/newZA.html Do you know where the image is from, who took it, who it is of, etc.? If you have a moment, please let me know.
--- Suzannah
Hi, Suzannah:I am pretty sure that the daguerreotypes appearing there were taken directly from the book under review, America & The Daguerreotype as edited by John Wood, published by the University of Iowa Press.

Hey there,
I've been searching for dog walkers, and I was excited to find you.
It's too hard to find trustworthy, quality service providers, and Thumbtack is changing that. We're growing really fast, we need more dog walkers, and I think you're a perfect fit!
Posting on Thumbtack is a great way to advertise yourself and it's completely free for service providers like you.
All you need to do to post your information is visit our site. Thanks!

Hi, Heather:And thanks for the info. If the book review biz continues to get worse, and if the unemployment rate don't drop (and if the creeks don't rise) ... you might have a customer.
I couldn't think of a career more laudable than being employed to lead a toy poodle named Fleetie Belle down Madison Avenue, scooping up all those rich leavings, keeping my eyes on all those scruffy types that might want to kidnap my client's baby. Thanks for the opportunity!
