RE: RALPH Anthology
Rather a spiteful, snobbish assessment of writers whose true genius was creating and nurturing a sense of wonder in their readers through their stories. How much more sophisticated to denigrate and to flaunt seventy-odd years of hindsight. Why do an anthology if your motive is not respect but smug superiority? The old adage applies "If you have nothing to say, say nothing," the same applies in print double.

RE: Chinese Encyclopedia
Dear Sir/Madam
We would like to ask your kind permission to use material from your site ralphmag.org in our Chinese Buddhist Encyclopedia
http://chinabuddhismencyclopedia.com This Buddhist Encyclopedia will be in 2 languages and all the materials will be translated to Chinese as well.
Our idea is to gather all Buddhism related material from all over the internet and put it to one place.
It is volunteer work and main goal is to create site in China and English speaking world, for everyone who is interested in Buddhism to find all they want to know in one place for free.
All the materials will have the reference link to your site.
Also asking permission to use images related to articles.
You can read more about our projects in

Chinese Buddhist Encyclopedia Team
Dear Friends from the CBE Team:We are delighted to hear that you are going to put together an Encyclopedia concerning with Buddhism.
We are also delighteed that you would like to use material from The Review of Arts, Literature, Philosophy and the Humanities.
In the case of reviews, we have no problem if you wish to quote the material in full, for instance our review of "Daring Steps: Traversing the Path of the Buddha by Ringu Tulku, at
https://www.krabarchive.com/ralphmag/GH/daring-steps.html or "The Practices of The Six Yogas of Naropa" at
https://www.krabarchive.com/ralphmag/ED/briefs.html or "Holding the Lotus To the Rock"
at
https://www.krabarchive.com/ralphmag/CO/the-lotus.html These three --- and many others --- we own the rights to because we originated them, ie, they are in-house reviews that came from our writers.
However, there are times when we have presented readings from books on Buddhism. These readings consisted only of one-time rights, and we do not own them. This often applies to any images we use online.
If you find such readings or images that you want to incorporate, although we cannot authorise your use, perhaps we can assist you in finding the owner of the original rights, and assist you in getting appropriate permission.
--- Thanks,
Lolita Lark
