Also of interest: Jose Fritz, in his blog Arcane Radio Trivia, has published an article featuring an interview of KRAB program producer Elliott Swanson. For a short time in 1971, Elliott produced a biweekly program of the music of John Fahey. Sometime in the last few years I tracked Elliott down, and he generously shared some of his remaining Fahey collection with me. Jose's interview is alternately funny and insightful, as they talk about Fahey, turtles, a bit about KRAB, and radio. It is a good break from corona virus.

This summer the Jack Straw Foundation (JSF) arranged for the papers of the former law firm of Haley, Bader and Potts, which represented KRAB and JSMF before the FCC, to be brought to Seattle. A couple of weeks ago I started digitizing these documents, and you can already see examples in Part 3 of the short-term license renewal story (below). So far approximately 3,330 pages have been scanned.
Recordings of KRAB programs continue to be found in a few other dusty repositories (former KRAB Nebula affiliates for example).
